Barre, Pilates, & Yoga
In addition to our dance programs, En L’air also offers barre, pilates, and yoga classes. These classes are offered throughout the year and can be purchased in 5 or 10 class packages. Drop ins are also welcome for $10 per class. Class space is limited, so please register in advance for the class(es) you would like to attend each week by simply clicking on the register link in the schedules below. If you have taken class with us before, be sure to then click on the link to log in to your account.
Barre is a mix of ballet, pilates, yoga, and functional training choreographed to upbeat and motivating music. In each energizing and targeted workout, you’ll use the barre and exercise equipment such as mini-balls to sculpt, slim and stretch your entire body. Benefits of barre include improved posture, muscle definition, weight loss, increased flexibility and reduced stress. No matter your fitness level, barre is for you! Due to its low impact, barre is even suitable for pregnant women. Please bring your own mat as the studio’s supply is limited. Online registration is required for ALL morning barre classes.
Mat Pilates is the floor work version of Pilates. Focus is placed on precise movements originating from the center or core of your body. Working from the deepest layers of muscles, which stabilize and support your spine and pelvis. You will learn to be aware of breathing patterns and spinal alignment while engaging the core. No previous Pilates experience is necessary. Please bring your own mat as the studio’s supply is limited.
Yoga Flow is a one hour vinyasa style yoga class where you will learn to connect your breath with movement. Our instructor offers a full spectrum of poses focusing on proper alignment and its therapeutic benefits. You can expect sun salutations, forward folds, hip openers, shoulder openers, balancing, and back bends. This class is for all levels. Modifications will be provided so no prior experience is necessary. Come ready to be inspired, sweat, and leave feeling a little bit lighter! Please bring your own mat as the studio’s supply is limited. Online registration is required for ALL morning yoga classes.
